BATTERY LIFE BEYOND IMAGINATION
Everyone, including us, hates bulky batteries! Wittra® saves battery power by using ‘context awareness’ and patented communication techniques for positioning. The endurance of the battery is primarily about its power consumption. To position an object, Wittra® technology uses the same amount of energy required to keep a traditional lightbulb lit for 0.2 seconds, charge an iPhone for 0.1 seconds, or conduct 0.01 position fixes with GPS.
Wittra® contains Smart Power Management with a rechargeable battery lasting up to 12 months on a single charge! This is the result of years of development and we believe it is a quantum leap in location technology.
HOW IS IT DONE THEN?
The key issues that Wittra® solves are reliable indoor and outdoor positioning with minimal power consumption. Utilizing specific ISM frequencies together with patented positioning techniques, Wittra® can track items hundreds of meters from the base station with an accuracy of 10 meters using very little power. A low power radio chip has been developed which supports long-range sub GHz narrowband communication and context awareness and accurate location. An optimized system will be available upon licensing our technology or purchasing the products.
